Samantha Katherine Cohen is the author of 5 books, including Lady Katherine’s Wager and The Scroll.

Canadian, I live in rural Ontario. Married to a wonderful guy that knows more about computers than I'll ever know. I can turn my computer on and off, that's it. I read historical romances, historical and contemporary mysteries, non-fiction history, and biographies. I walk a lot; it helps me work out difficult plot lines. I love ice  cream. Ice cream sandwiches are my favourite. I don't cook and I loath housework. Fortunately my husband likes to cook and I grudgingly do the housework. I have a ten year old white convertible that I love to drive down back roads. The answer to a storyline I was struggling with came to me on one of those back road drives. I'm 5'6'' and weigh more than I should, thank you ice cream. I don't have dimples but wish I did. My hair has a mind of its own and I wish it didn't.

Writing can take you to magical places like Tudor England and ancient Egypt, it can conjure up interesting characters that find themselves in impossible situations that only you, the author, can get them out of.  But the best part of writing is knowing that someone, somewhere will get as much enjoyment out of reading your story as you had writing it. So thank you dear read, wherever you are.
